THOMPSONVILLE, Mich. (AP) — A 58-year-old man has died while skiing at Crystal Mountain in northern Michigan.
Crystal Mountain, a resort in Benzie County, says the Traverse City man was racing Friday when he lost control and slammed into a tower that makes show. He was wearing a helmet.
The man’s name wasn’t immediately released, but the resort says he was a regular skier.
The crash occurred on the Cheers downhill trail.
