Surveillance video shows altercation with Wyoming school official

WYOMING, Mich. – Wyoming school officials have released surveillance video where the Dean of Students became involved in an altercation with a student.

Rueben Riley was fired by the school district after the altercation on January 26.  Several families have come forward in support of Riley.

A police investigation is also underway.  Riley was charged with  misdemeanor assault charge.

Riley, who was also a former NFL player and was assistant football coach at the school, was sent to a classroom to deal with an unruly student. Video shows Riley in an altercation with the student that moves from the hallway to the gym. At one point, the teen is thrown to the ground.
