West Michigan – The National Weather has issued a Winter Storm Watch for parts of West Michigan from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday evening.
The “exact” storm track is not certain at this time, but the mostly likely track takes the storm from east Texas through the Ohio Valley to near Lake Erie. Any change in this track will make a significant difference on snowfall amounts for the state.
Right now, it appears the heaviest snow will be mainly east of US 131. By early Thursday morning over 8 inches is expected in a band from near Saginaw to Lansing to Jackson to near Kalamazoo.
We will continue to update you on this storm at FOX 17 Weather.
