KALAMAZOO, Mich. -- Kalamazoo County Sheriff Richard Fuller tells FOX 17 that the first victim in Saturday's shooting spree is improving.
The woman was shot multiple times Saturday afternoon at the Meadows Townhomes. Later, the suspect, Jason Dalton, shot seven other people at two locations, killing six. Dalton was taken into custody just after midnight and is expected to be arraigned Monday.
Kalamazoo Mayor Bobby Hopewell also spoke to FOX 17 Monday morning of how the community is working to heal.
