MONROEVILLE, Ala. — To Kill a Mockingbird author Harper Lee has died at the age of 89, according to Fox News.
Lee passed away in her hometown of Monroeville, Alabama, Entertainment Weekly reports.
Lee won a Pulitzer Prize for Mockingbird, which was published in 1960. Her second novel, Go Set a Watchman, was published more than 50 years later in July 2015.
Lee received the Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2007.
