RAVENNA, Mich. -- Hundreds of people gathered to support a West Michigan family who's been dealing with overwhelming grief the last few weeks after the Kubasiak siblings were involved in a deadly crash on their way to school.

You'll likely remember the crash killed 10-year-old Erika Kubasiak nearly two weeks ago. Days later, her 16-year-old brother, Peter also died from from his injuries. The driver, 18-year-old Emily Kubasiak continues to recover after being released from intensive care.

John and Annie Kubasiak expressed their gratitude for the community Wednesday night in the gymnasium of Ravenna High School.

"What held us up, what keeps us moving, it`s you," echoed the grieving parents.

John went on to thank the community.

"Thank you for your prayers and your support and your love will never be forgotten," John said.

If you would like to help the family out there is a Kubasiak fund set up at any Choice One branch.
