SAUGATUCK, Mich. — The Allegan County Sheriff’s Office says multiple agencies responded to the scene of an accident involving a pedestrian and a vehicle early Tuesday morning.
The first call came in at around 5:50 a.m. for a possible pedestrian struck at Blue Star Highway and M-89 in Saugatuck. When the first crews arrived on scene, additional units were called to assist.
As of 6:30 a.m., the area was closed to traffic. The extent of the victim’s injuries is not yet clear.
