BELDING, Mich. -- An elderly woman died in a house fire at James Street and Ann Street in Belding early Friday. Another person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Screams were heard coming from the house, and one person jumped out of a window to get help at a neighbor's house.

Several explosions were reported which were attributed to the presence of oxygen tanks.

Officials on the scene said there is no reason to believe the fire was suspicious.
