LAWTON, Mich. — One person was hospitalized following a house fire Sunday morning.
According to Van Buren County dispatch, the fire was called in around 8:30 a.m. at a home in the 31000 block of 62nd Avenue in Lawton.
Dispatch said most people were out of the house when fire crews arrived on scene. One person was taken to the hospital with possible smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
