GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Grand Rapids Police say the man who died in crash last week had a medical emergency that caused the accident.
Kirk DeHaan, 54, of Ada, died on January 10 in a one-car crash at the East Beltline and Leonard Street NE. Police say the DeHaan suffered heart failure, which caused him to crash. DeHaan died shortly after at the hospital.
