Police respond to armed robbery of Holland video store

HOLLAND, Mich. - Holland Police are responding to reports of an armed robbery at an area video store.

The robbery was reported at the Family Video at 17th Street and Diekema Avenue. The Holland Department of Public Safety tweeted that the suspect fled the scene on foot and area schools were notified.

Police say the suspect implied that he had a gun, but one was not seen.  An Ottawa County K9 tracked the suspect to about 20th Street and Diekema, but he was not located.  Police say surveillance video is not available.
