WALKER, Mich. — An 84-year-old man was struck by a vehicle and killed Tuesday evening in Walker.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m. in the 2000 block of Wilson Avenue, according to Walker Police.
According to police, the man was stuck by a vehicle in the southbound lane while attempting to cross the street.
Wilson Avenue was closed while officials investigated the crash but the road has since reopened, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department.
The victim’s identity has not been released.
