MICHIGAN — The State of Michigan has announced Monday that all non-essential government offices and buildings located in the Lower Peninsula are closing.
The announcement listed on the state’s official website says that all offices will be closed as of 1:00 p.m.
All employees in non-essential facilities have been sent home because of the expected and already present ice and snow.

All non-essential State of Michigan government offices and buildings in the Lower Peninsula are closed beginning at 1:00 PM, Monday, December 28, 2015.
