Police catch suspected garage thief, seeking other victims

MARSHALL, Mich. — Police are asking other potential victims to come forward after arresting an individual they believe was taking items from area garages and vehicles.

The Marshall Police Department is investigating a string of thefts within the city, all of which they believe occurred some time on Thursday.

The alleged thief was apparently taking items such as car batteries and tools from driveways and garages.

Police say they have taken a suspect into custody and that charges against them are pending.
