MUSKEGON, Mich. – No snow yet, but the Muskegon Winter Parking Ban goes into effect Tuesday, December 15.
The ban goes through the last day of February. During that time, parking is not allowed on any street between 2:00am and 6:00am. Through the holiday season, offenders will receive red “warning” tags.
During the ban, you can park on the terrace, which is the area between the street and the sidewalk.
During extreme weather events, the city could declare a Snow Emergency and then all vehicles have to be off the street within six hours.
