ALLENDALE, Mich. – An Allendale man died Thursday afternoon after falling in a greenhouse where he was working.
David Feenstra, 61, was working inside one of the buildings at Feenstra Brothers Greenhouseson 68th Avenue when he fell from near a ceiling down to a cement floor. Feenstra was killed in the fall.
According to the greenhouse website, the business is closed for the season. David was one of two brothers who operate the greenhouse, which started as a family farm.
