GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Heading to see Zac Brown Band at Van Andel Arena Friday night? Be prepared for some changes in security.
The Van Andel Arena has sent out an alert to guests that in addition to the standard Van Andel Arena policies and prohibited items, the only bags that will be allowed in are clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC. That includes purses with straps. Small clutch purses will be allowed, but will be checked. People can bring in a one gallon-sized clear ziplock bag.
Doors for the concert will open at 5:30pm, 90 minutes prior to the concert to allow time for the extra security.
