VERSAILLES, Ky. (WGN)— Police say a dialysis nurse admitted to driving to another state, to murder a child he didn’t know.
Ronald Exantus pleaded not guilty to murder and burglary.
Investigators say he drove from Indianapolis to a small town in Kentucky, 200 miles away.
Police say that’s where he picked a random house, broke inside, and stabbed 6-year-old Logan Tipton to death. Tipton’s siblings were also attacked.
The oldest sister was able to fight Exantus off, until their father came to the rescue.
The father held him there until police arrived.
Police say there’s nothing that connects Exantus to the family, or the town.
