BETHESDA, Md. — Hundreds of thousands of discount glass jar candles are being recalled by the Consumer Product Safety Commission, due to a laceration hazard.

MVP Group’s Glass Jar Candles with Lids — The glass lid can break when the jar is being opened, posing a laceration hazard. About 720,000 units are impacted. There have been 16 reported incidents resulting in laceration injuries, some requiring medical attention, including one requiring stitches. They were sold under a variety of brand names and scents at Big Lots, Dollar General and Family Dollar stores. Refunds are available. Click here for more information.
