Michigan – Very quiet and mild weather is expected for travel on Wednesday. Skies will remain mostly sunny during the day with highs temperatures mainly in the 40s to near 50.
A cold front will move into the Great Lakes on Thursday with rain developing for West Michigan. Ahead of the front temperatures will warm into the lower 50s. Rain will continue for Thanksgiving night and into the first half of Friday. Colder air will follow for West Michigan on Friday with temperatures falling into the low-mid 40s.
Further north, rain will change to snow over the northern part of the state by late Thursday and Thursday night. Several inches of snow are possible by Friday with temperatures in the 30s.
