MUSKEGON, Mich. – West Michigan has a new indoor football team.
The West Michigan Ironmen will start in the spring of 2016 at L.C. Walker Arena in Muskegon in the American Indoor Football League.
The league plays eight-man football and will play a ten-game schedule with six home games.
Tyrese Link, a 1985 Orchard View graduate and former Western Michigan University two-sport athlete, will be the team’s first head coach. He has also been coaching Kalamazoo College.
