Three Rivers PD catch suspect wanted by the D.O.C.

THREE RIVERS, Mich. – Three Rivers police caught a man Sunday morning wanted by the Michigan Department of Corrections.

Police were notified by the D.O.C. Friday that Robert Oliver has absconded his parole.  Sunday morning at about 6:00am, police spotted Oliver at the McDonald’s in Three Rivers. Oliver led police on a chase through eight blocks of yards and fences before they caught him hiding behind a home on Spring Street.  He was taken into custody there.

Oliver is currently being held in the St. Joseph County Jail.
