GRAND RAPIDS, Mich -- The community came together on Saturday morning to take part in the Out of the Darkness Community Walk at Millennium Park in Grand Rapids. It was put on by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
This event sparked a very special reunion. Darci Thompson lost her son, Trevor, to suicide last year but met with the man who received a heart from her son for the very first time. Fox 17’s Kate Nadolski met up with the two and spoke with them about their reunion.
