PORTAGE, Mich.– Crews are working to re-open a road in Portage after a car hit a utility pole.
The Portage Department of Public Safety says a 46-year-old male lost control of his Jeep and struck the pole on West Milham near Nevada Avenue leading to it breaking.
Authorities say the driver was not injured in the crash and alcohol is not believed to have been a factor.
Nevada Avenue is still closed at this hour due to downed wires.
FOX 17 will let you know when the intersection has reopened.
