(CNN) — Finding a $20 bill on the street has to be thrilling enough. But a Bay Area bartender might just be one of the luckiest people around.

According to the California Lottery, Hubert Tang used a $20 bill he found on the street outside San Francisco International Airport last week to buy two $1 million Jackpot! Scratchers tickets at a shop in San Mateo County. He won the top prize of $1 million.

Tang had not bought a lottery ticket in 10 years.

“I scratched the ticket outside of the store. I told my friend who I was with that I didn’t know if it was real but, ‘I think I just won a million dollars,'” Tang told the California Lottery.

Tang told the lottery he doesn’t have any immediate spending plans. For now, it will go into savings. He did tell CNN affiliate KPIX that he planned a celebratory dinner and “Mom can definitely look forward to a new car or something.”

“Maybe I’ll start leaving $20 bills on the street in random places,” Tang told the California Lottery.

The store where he bought the winning ticket gets $5,000.
