FENTON, Mich. — The funeral for Michigan State Police Trooper Chad Wolf was held Tuesday in Fenton.

According to WJBK, family, friends and fellow law enforcement officials from around the country attended the ceremony.

Wolf was killed Aug. 28 in a motorcycle crash while on duty on northbound I-75 in Oakland County.    The driver of the car who hit Wolf dragged him for several miles before realizing he had struck the trooper, WJBK reports.

Wolf was pronounced dead at the hospital a few hours after the crash.

The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at Fenton High School Gym, according to WJBK.  More than $130,000 has been raised on GoFundMeto support his family.

Gov. Rick Snyder ordered flags to fly at half-staff Tuesday to honor Trooper Wolf.
