28th Street businesses look forward to the Metro Cruise spending

WYOMING, Mich. - Car lovers are gathering along 28th Street for the 11th Annual Metro Cruise.  Wyoming businesses are looking forward to the weekend too.

Organizers say that last year, people spent over $3 million along 28th Street last year for Metro Cruise.

When the event started eleven years ago, they got about 400-500 cars.  Last year, there were 15,000 cars and 250,000 people.

From Pal's Diner in Cascade in the east to Rogers Plaza in Wyoming in the west, businesses staff extra employees for the weekend.
