West Michigan – A pattern change is setting-up next week which will bring some cooler air into the area. A ridge of high pressure will build along the West Coast with temperatures well above average. Northwest flow will develop over southern Canada and push into the Great Lakes with temperatures falling below average.
The 6-10 day (August 6-10) forecast calls for a very good chance of below average temperatures in the Great Lakes. The average highs for West Michigan during that period are 81-82 with the average lows around 61-62.
That trend will continue for the 8-14 day (August 6-12) forecast. Average highs during that period are 80-81 with average lows of 60-61.
