GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — As storms subside in Grand Rapids, Consumers Energy is reporting that close to 1,000 in the area are left without power.
Consumers’ tells us that power should be restored in a couple hours. To their knowledge, no catastrophic damage has been done to the power lines or poles.
Crews will begin work once the weather clears.
It’s estimated that as the storm moves, residents in Portland may experience power outages as well.
