LAKE MICHIGAN – Storms from overnight and northerly winds moving in this afternoon are causing for hazardous swimming conditions along Lake Michigan Tuesday.
Waves will build to over three feet high and will bring longshore, structural and rip currents to area beaches.
Beaches with particularly dangerous conditions today include:
- North Beach in South Haven
- Holland State Park
- Muskegon State Park
- Mears State Park in Pentwater
- Stearns Park in Ludington
Rough conditions are expected through tonight from St. Joseph to Manistee.
