KALAMAZOO TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Early this afternoon, a chase involving the police ended when the pursued vehicle crashed into a pole.
Kalamazoo Township Police say that around 12:50 PM, an officer noticed a speeding black sedan that ran a stop sign. The officer flashed the lights to stop the vehicle, but the sedan began to accelerate. The officer began chase.
The chase ended when the sedan struck a pole at the intersection of Kenillworth Ave. and Dwillard Dr.
There were three people in the sedan; of whom, two were arrested and await arraignment.
No injuries were suffered during or after the chase.
The names of those in custody are being withheld until charges are brought against them.
