KALAMAZOO, Mich. – After last week’s storms and flooding, Homer Stryker Field is ready for baseball and fireworks this weekend.
The Kalamazoo Growlers’ home field was underwater less than a week ago. This holiday weekend’s games and fireworks were thought to be in jeopardy, but dry weather and a lot of pumping has the field ready to go.
Friday night’s game includes a giveaway of Chicago White Sox pitcher Chris Sale bobbleheads. Saturday night’s game will be followed by fireworks.
