IONIA COUNTY - Each week, Grand Rapids Harley Davidson and West Michigan's Most Wanted recognizes a member or members of law enforcement who've gone above and beyond the call of duty to help the citizens they serve.
For the week of June 27th, a pair of deputies in Ionia County are being recognized for their efforts to save a woman who became trapped in her flooding vehicle shortly after severe weather came through the area near Portland.
Deputy Brian Brinks and Deputy Chelsea Kasul responded to the call for help from Mary Pline, recognized on the department's Facebook page.
FOX17 spoke with Pline shortly after the rescue, for her story, click on the video player above.
Congratulations to Deputy Brinks and Deputy Kasul, our Heroes of the Week for June 27th.
