BETHESDA, Md. — The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced two new recalls this week, both impacting several varieties of golf carts for differing reasons.
Below is the information on both recalls.
E-Z Go golf cars, shuttles and off-road utility vehicles — The gas tank can leak, posing a fire hazard. About 8,200 units are impacted in this recall. No injuries have been reported at this time. E-Z Go is offering free repairs to remedy the issue. Click here for more information on this recall.
Yamaha Golf Cars and Personal Transportation Vehicles (PTV) — The front wheel hubs on the golf cars and PTVs can crack causing the front wheels to detach, posing a crash hazard that could result in injury or death to the user or bystander. About 2,000 units are impacted. No injuries have been reported. Yamaha is offering free repairs as a remedy. Click here for more information on this recall.
