WHITEHALL, Mich. – A Dalton Township man has been charged with for allegedly having sexual contact with a 10-year-old girl in a hotel swimming pool.
Donald Beckwith, 56, has been charged with a felony for the incident which allegedly happened in January at the Comfort Inn on Holton Whitehall Road.
The Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office tells us that the incident happened at a pool party on January 17 and the girl reported it immediately. Michigan State Police investigated and Beckwith was charged this week for second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a child younger than 13.
Beckwith has been released on $20,000 surety bond.
