MARTIN, Mich. — Thousands of people are expected at the annual B-93 Birthday Bash at US 131 Motorsports Park this weekend, but there are some things that visitors will want to remember before hitting the road.

First are some reminders from police:  There will likely be heavy traffic and congestion on US-131 in both directions near Martin.  They also remind everyone that outside food and beverages are not allowed, and consumption of alcohol purchased on site is limited to the venue.  Riding in the back of a pickup truck is also forbidden.

As for the event itself, organizers posted some very helpful information on the official website:

No one will be allowed to enter the grounds until 8am each day. Gates into the concert area will open at 10am both days. First act begins around 12 noon. The concert will end at approximately 8pm each evening, and patrons must leave the grounds of US 131 Motorsports Park at the conclusion of both nights. Children 12 and under do NOT a need a ticket for entry. Possession of a ticket does not guarantee admission.

The B-93 Birthday Bash will occur rain or shine. You must present a ticket for entry into the concert grounds. Tickets are not available for purchase the day of the event.

Although the B-93 Birthday Bash is a free event, all B-93 Birthday Bash patrons are required to park on the US 131 Motorsports Park grounds. The parking fee for 2015 is $60.00. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING WILL BE PERMITTED. Parking begins at 8 a.m. Parking Passes are not available for purchase the day of the event. No walk-ins please.

A limited number of two-day parking passes are available for purchase online.

No carry-ins will be allowed onto the premises of the US 131 Motorsports Park. Food and beverage will be sold inside the venue. All bags are subject to search. Tailgate if you’d like (food, friends, etc.), but leave the booze behind. Just as in years past, alcohol is not allowed to be consumed in the parking area. Police have advised us that they are stepping up their enforcement of this policy. There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for underage drinking. No open fires or flames will be allowed.

All seating is general admission with the exception of reserved seating. If you picked up a free lawn ticket, don’t forget to bring your own bag chair!

There is no re-entry at the B-93 Birthday Bash. Patrons leaving the B-93 Birthday Bash grounds will not be allowed back into the concert area. Please be sure you have everything that you need with you upon your arrival.
