Two arrested in stolen car filled with drugs and guns

KALAMAZOO COUNTY, Mich. — Arrests were made Saturday afternoon after two men were pulled over driving a stolen car filled with guns and drugs, officers say.

The vehicle was spotted with a stolen license plate in Kalamazoo on Fulford Street near Clinton Avenue.

The vehicle was pulled over. It was discovered to be stolen from Portage.

Officers found methamphetamine, methamphetamine components, pseudoephedrine pills, and a .45 caliber handgun in the vehicle.

A 23-year-old Kalamazoo resident was the driver of the stolen vehicle, and was arrested for concealed carry weapon, felony firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth components, possession of a stolen vehicle, and possession of a stolen license plate.

The passenger, a 37-year-old Kalamazoo resident, was also arrested for concealed carry weapon.

The names of the occupants are not being released at this time.
