LEE COUNTY, Fla. — A 44-year-old Florida man was arrested in April after he was caught on surveillance video bumping into the back of a patrol car and dancing on the vehicle’s roof while Hall & Oates’ “Rich Girl” and Supertramp’s “Goodbye Stranger” blared from his car speakers.

Christian Redecki, a convicted sexual offender, was arrested on April 7 for disturbing the peace and criminal mischief.

According to apolice report obtained by WPTV, the suspect said the incident started when a “woman with fangs” came to his door and said a human sacrifice was about to occur involving vampires.

“Therefore, Radecki made the conscious decision to get the Sheriff of Nottingham to help him stop the slaughter of small children,” officers said in the police report.

Radecki was taken to a local hospital for observation.

Radecki told police he had not taken any drugs and was not drunk. According to WPTV, Radecki also said he had not been diagnosed with any mental health conditions and was not taking any prescribed medication.
