THREE RIVERS, Mich. — Police in Three Rivers say a man wearing a panda mask pistol whipped a gas station clerk during an armed robbery in May, and they are asking for the public’s help in locating him.
The suspect, 23-year-old Cory Joseph Dwyer, allegedly robbed the Shell Gas Station, 503 S. Main St., on May 1. According to a Wednesday press release, Dwyer’s last known locations are Sturgis, Mich. and Howe, Ind.
He is described by police as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 lbs. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. Police say he may be driving a red 1994 Jeep Wrangler with Indiana plate WKD 706.
Police say they recovered the panda mask and firearm Dwyer allegedly used during the robbery a short distance from the gas station.
