GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Grand Rapids Police locked down a couple of blocks Monday morning after a shooting.
Police tell us they were called to a home on Garfield NW near 3rd Street at about 9:00am. A couple had been outside arguing in the front yard. A neighbor came out of another home to get the couple to quiet down. He then fired a rifle at the ground near the couple.
The man has been taken into custody. Police are still investigating the incident. No one was injured.
Garfield was closed between 2nd and 4th for a couple of hours.
