GRAND RAPIDS – You may have seen some crazy looking cloud formations from Texas this week. Friday afternoon, a couple of smaller versions were spotted near Grand Rapids.
The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids tweeted out a photo of “lenticular” clouds Friday at about 1:00pm. The tweet says the clouds formed above convection to the southwest of Grand Rapids. The clouds are the round, wispy clouds in the center of the frame.
