ALGOMA TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was killed and another person was seriously injured Thursday in a crash in Algoma Township.
According to the Kent County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened at about 3:30 p.m. in the area of Pine Island Drive and Indian Lakes Road.
Officials at the scene told FOX 17 that an SUV and a car collided after the SUV ran a stop sign. The vehicles then struck a tree.
Terrance Gage, 39, of Cedar Springs, was killed. Johnny Castellanos, 42, also of Cedar Springs, was seriously hurt.
