Breylon Senn was born on May 9th, 2008. Breylon lost his fight against Mitochondrial Encephalomyopathy, which is a form of Mitochondrial Disease, on February 15, 2013.'Mito' as we call it, is a progressive disease that occurs when the mitochondria of our cells fail to produce enough energy for organ function, leading to organ failure; therefore it can affect the whole body.Although Breylon lost his mighty battle, we are continue to fight for a cure for Breylon's sister, Brynlee and all the thousands of others still fighting.
The Senn Family created the 'Breylon Senn Research Fund' through the United Mitochondrial Disease Foundation. All proceeds from this event will go toward Breylon's research fund.
