Kent Co. investigating string of credit card fraud complaints

KENT COUNTY, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff’s Department is investigating several recent complaints of credit card fraud in West Michigan.

Authorities believe that suspects are using a type of “skimming device” to quickly steal unknowing victim’s credit card information.

Two suspects have been identified in connection with the fraudulent activity.  Investigators are attempting to make contact with 34-year-old Inoveidis Giron-Ferro and 29-year-old Edrey Santo-Rojas, both of which they say are residents of Florida.

Police say the two men are using the stolen credit card information to actively make purchases and are asking the public to assist in locating them.
