GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Downtown Grand Rapids is on the path to becoming more bicycle friendly.
Bike repair station are being installed around the city, which come with tire pumps and tools to do basic repairs on bikes. So far the Downtown Development Authority has purchased five of them. Each station has a QR code that users can scan with their phones to see how to use all the tools.
The total cost of the bike station project was roughly $7,000.
