BRIDGEMAN, Mich. — An officer with the Baroda-Lake Township Police Department suffered leg and facial injuries in a crash along I-94 while responding to another accident.
The Bridgman Police Department released this image of the crash on its Facebook page this evening, reminding drivers why it’s important to give first responders room on the side of the road.
Officers from the Bridgman Police Department, Baroda-Lake Township Police Department, and Lincoln Township Police Department were all on scene when the collision took place.
The injured officer was treated at Lakeland Hospital and is ‘very sore,’ according to the post.
