HASTINGS, Mich.-- Jason William Roe, 27, was killed in a Sunday night crash near Hastings, according to a release from the Barry County Sheriff's Department.
Roe and a another motorcyclist, 19-year-old Zackary Rosenberger, were involved in the crash on W. State Road at about 10 p.m. Sunday. Emergency crews were not alerted to the crash until Monday morning and did find the victims until roughly 11:30 a.m., according to a release.
Officials say Roe and Rosenberger were driving north on W. State Road between Douglas and Hammond when their motorcycle ran off the road and into the ditch.
Rosenberger, the driver, was airlifted to the hospital and Roe was pronounced dead at the scene, Barry County officials said in a release.
