IONIA COUNTY, Mich. -- Police are looking for a suspect who was involved in a high speed chase in a stolen vehicle over the weekend.
It happened on Nash Highway near Portland Road early Sunday morning.
The Ionia County Sheriff's Department said deputies tried to pull over the vehicle when it took off. Michigan State Police joined the pursuit for several miles before the driver got away. Officials said the license plates displayed on the vehicle were stolen in Ionia County.
The vehicle is described as a black Dodge Ram pickup with an extended or quad cab bearing the license plate CFT5516. The sheriff's department said the vehicle has a graphic of an animal head in the center of the back window.
