GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Federal authorities have ended the search for a witness who refused to testify in a federal trial that reached a conclusion Friday evening.
The material witness warrant for Jesse Martell Phillips was dismissed after a jury reached a verdict in the case against Chad Luther ‘Buddy’ Thompson II.
Thompson was found guilty on federal drugs and weapons charges following deliberations on Friday.
