PENNFIELD TOWNSHIP, Mich. — A man just finishing taking a shower walked into his bedroom Sunday afternoon to find three men robbing him, police say.

Police responded to a residence on Rondale Lane around 3:00 p.m. Sunday on a report of a home invasion.  A man reported that he had just finished taking a shower when he found the men going through his belongings in his bedroom.

One was reportedly going through his closet while another is said to have had a backpack already loaded with the victim’s stuff.

The man said he told the men that he was going to call the police, which prompted them to flee his house into some nearby woods.

Police found three individuals, who were later identified by the victim to be the men in his house, after canvassing the area around the residence.

The offenders were identified by police as a 30-year-old man from Battle Creek, a 13-year-old from Battle Creek, and a 16-year-old female from Springfield.

The 30-year-old was taken into custody for First Degree Home Invasion.
